Blue Logistics Group continues Nordic expansion – acquires Rhenus Air & Ocean activities in Norway

Blue Logistics Group is pleased to share the news of our latest step in developing our Nordic Air & Ocean operations.

In close collaboration with the Rhenus Group, Blue Logistics Group has, as of 1 November 2025, acquired the Air & Ocean activities in Norway, including employees, customers, and operations. This acquisition strengthens Blue Logistics Group’s position in the Nordic market and sets yet another footstep in our long-term growth strategy.

“We have enjoyed a strong partnership with Rhenus for quite some time – also upon a very positive process with the Management Buy Out of the same activities in Denmark in 2024 and when the opportunity arose to take over their Norwegian Air & Ocean business, it was a natural next step for us,” says CEO Mikkel Fruergaard and continues “We look forward to welcoming our Norwegian colleagues and customers into the Blue Logistics family. For us, this is not just about growth – it’s about bringing talented people together and creating connected solutions across the Nordic region. With this transfer, Blue Logistics Group assumes full responsibility for Rhenus’ Air & Ocean operations in Norway, while continuing as Rhenus’ exclusive agent in both Denmark and Norway. The new company continuing the activities is Blue Logistics Norway Air & Ocean A/S.

This structure ensures continued close cooperation and provides customers with access to the global Rhenus network, combined with Blue Logistics’ local presence and flexibility.

From the Rhenus side, the transition is also seen as a positive step forward:

The acquisition in Norway follows Blue Logistics Group’s earlier integration of Rhenus’ Air & Ocean operations in Denmark in early 2025. Together, these steps further strengthen our Nordic foundation and our ability to deliver integrated logistics solutions across the region.
